Lewis Gill,20, knocked 40 year old autistic man Andrew Young to the ground with a single blow a single punch following an argument about cycling on the pavement in November 2013.

Grill (pictured above) killed Young (pictured below) with a single punch in the face in an unprovoked attack captured on CCTV.

In the video, Young is seen talking to acquaintance of Gill’s about his cycling on the pavement outside the Tesco Metro store on Charminster Road, Bournemouth but moments later Gill is seen punching him.

The victim died the next day at Southampton hospital.

Gill pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced four years in prison on Friday.

However, Young’s family is not happy about the sentence, claiming was too lenient and expected him to get more than that. The attorney general has until 21 March to decide whether to refer the sentence to the Court of Appeal.

Insiders say Chris Brown has been reaching out to Rihanna after completing a 90-day stint in rehab and her friends are worried the volatile couple may reunite.

Meanwhile, RiRi is rumored to be spending time in Paris with Drake and even joined him onstage (pictured right).

Brown reportedly texted Rihanna on her birthday and the Bajan beauty couldn’t help herself and replied “thank you”.

But another source familiar with situation said it was Rihanna who initially reached out to Brown, telling him she “missed him,” before she flew off to Paris to meet Drake.

Well, it's unclear who started but the texts became “flirty”.....according to pagesix.com:

Chris started texting Rihanna on her birthday [Feb. 20], and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since, said a source close to the singers.

Rihanna didn’t write back right away . . . but later that night she started getting sentimental and texted back, ‘thank you,’ and asked how he was.

Since then, the two haven’t stopped texting each other and friends are freaked out that she’s going to start dating him again.

Maybe she’s done with that now but it’s unpredictable....stay tuned!

Internalized anger is a ticking time-bomb which can lead to abusive or self-destructive behavior, or a combination of both.

Just six months after the couple wed, Ian Cuthbert heard allegations that his wife had been in a relationship with another man.

It all started when Alison Kidd moved out of their home. The 46 years old posted raunchy pictures of his 34 year old wife in her underwear all over their local town with the captions – "Lock Up Your Husbands" and "Married and committing adultery within days".

The IT boss from Broxburn, West Lothian posted the fliers on trees, lamp posts, local entries and on a noticeboard of the school where the woman worked.

He was said to be in an "extreme state" when he put up the fliers believing his wife had been unfaithful and cheated on him.

Allison was left shocked and embarrassed. She called the police and Ian was charged with distributing offensive pictures of his wife after pleading guilty.

The couple is now in the process of getting a divorce.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are about to tie the knot after nearly two years of dating.

The lovebirds were first friends for almost 15 years, then they began dating in 2012 after Ashton's marriage to Demi Moore ended and now the former That '70s Show co-stars are engaged.

E! has confirmed that Mila (30) and Ashton (36) got engaged recently and are planning to make it official soon. Yesterday Kunis was pictured sporting a huge diamond ring on her finger when she was out shopping in Los Angeles.

Congrats to the couple.

A man is suing McDonald for $1.5million for giving him only one napkin and refusing to give him any when he asked for more.

TMZ reports:

McDonalds has made a new golden arch enemy -- a California man is suing the company for $1.5 MILLION ... because he says he only got ONE NAPKIN with his meal.

Webster Lucas claims he was stiffed on napkins at the Mickey D's in Pacoima, CA on January 29th -- after ordering a Quarter Pounder Deluxe -- and when he went up to the counter to ask for more, he was rudely rebuffed by the manager ... who insisted he already got some.

According to his lawsuit, Lucas -- who is black -- then retorted, "I should have went to eat at the Jack-in-the-Box because I didn't come here to argue over napkins. I came here to eat."

That's when Lucas says things got racist -- claiming the manager (a Mexican-American) mumbled something about "you people."

Lucas subsequently emailed the general manager to complain -- insisting he couldn't work because of the "undue mental anguish" he was suffering as a result of the napkin debacle -- and says he was insultingly offered free burgers in return.

Lucas wants to super size instead -- $1.5 million.

If he miraculously wins a ~~legitimate~~ frivolous lawsuit against McD, then he has to thank the manager for being mean. LoL!

Don't change who you are for a minute........

Black and Proud Lupita Nyong'o was one of the honored at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon event held yesterday February 28 at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Accepting her award, the 30-year-old actress gave one of the most powerful speeches about self-acceptance and loving yourself just the way you are. Her message basically is, "Black is beautiful" and you really don't need to be ashamed. She also mentioned Dencia in her speech. Read her inspiring speech below:

Thank you Alfre, for such an amazing, amazing introduction and celebration of my work. And thank you very much for inviting me to be a part of such an extraordinary community.

I am surrounded by people who have inspired me, women in particular whose presence on screen made me feel a little more seen and heard and understood. That it is Essence that holds this event celebrating our professional gains of the year is significant, a beauty magazine that recognizes the beauty that we not just possess but also produce.

I want to take this opportunity to talk about beauty, black beauty, dark beauty. I received a letter from a girl and I’d like to share just a small part of it with you: “Dear Lupita,” it reads, “I think you’re really lucky to be this Black but yet this successful in Hollywood overnight. I was just about to buy Dencia’s Whitenicious cream to lighten my skin when you appeared on the world map and saved me.”

My heart bled a little when I read those words, I could never have guessed that my first job out of school would be so powerful in and of itself and that it would propel me to be such an image of hope in the same way that the women of The Color Purple were to me.

I remember a time when I too felt unbeautiful. I put on the TV and only saw pale skin, I got teased and taunted about my night-shaded skin. And my one prayer to God, the miracle worker, was that I would wake up lighter-skinned. The morning would come and I would be so excited about seeing my new skin that I would refuse to look down at myself until I was in front of a mirror because I wanted to see my fair face first. And every day I experienced the same disappointment of being just as dark as I was the day before. I tried to negotiate with God, I told him I would stop stealing sugar cubes at night if he gave me what I wanted, I would listen to my mother’s every word and never lose my school sweater again if he just made me a little lighter. But I guess God was unimpressed with my bargaining chips because He never listened.

And when I was a teenager my self-hate grew worse, as you can imagine happens with adolescence. My mother reminded me often that she thought that I was beautiful but that was no conservation, she’s my mother, of course she’s supposed to think I am beautiful. And then…Alek Wek. A celebrated model, she was dark as night, she was on all of the runways and in every magazine and everyone was talking about how beautiful she was. Even Oprah called her beautiful and that made it a fact. I couldn’t believe that people were embracing a woman who looked so much like me, as beautiful. My complexion had always been an obstacle to overcome and all of a sudden Oprah was telling me it wasn’t. It was perplexing and I wanted to reject it because I had begun to enjoy the seduction of inadequacy. But a flower couldn’t help but bloom inside of me, when I saw Alek I inadvertently saw a reflection of myself that I could not deny.

Now, I had a spring in my step because I felt more seen, more appreciated by the far away gatekeepers of beauty. But around me the preference for my skin prevailed, to the courters that I thought mattered I was still unbeautiful. And my mother again would say to me you can’t eat beauty, it doesn’t feed you and these words plagued and bothered me; I didn’t really understand them until finally I realized that beauty was not a thing that I could acquire or consume, it was something that I just had to be.

And what my mother meant when she said you can’t eat beauty was that you can’t rely on how you look to sustain you. What is fundamentally beautiful is compassion for yourself and for those around you. That kind of beauty enflames the heart and enchants the soul. It is what got Patsey in so much trouble with her master, but it is also what has kept her story alive to this day. We remember the beauty of her spirit even after the beauty of her body has faded away.

And so I hope that my presence on your screens and in the magazines may lead you, young girl, on a similar journey. That you will feel the validation of your external beauty but also get to the deeper business of being beautiful inside.

There is no shame in Black beauty.

Chris Brown diagnosed with mental illness

Chris Brown has been diagnosed with mental illness, suffering from bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. This was revealed during his last court appearance...

Brown appeared in court yesterday for a probation hearing and the judge ordered the singer to stay in rehab program, despite receiving a favorable report from the rehab facility.

The letter obtained by E! New s states:

Mr. Brown will also require close supervision by his treating physician in order to ensure his bipolar mental health condition remains stable. It is not uncommon for patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Bipolar II to use substances to self-medicate their biomedical mood swings and trauma triggers.

Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.

Brown was ordered to to appear in court on April 23.

Boko Haram strikes again in Borno state, killing at least 35

The Islamic extremists struck again in Borno state, sacked the entire village of Maiduguri and killed dozens of residents on Saturday.

An eyewitness said the attackers dressed in military uniform came into Maiduguri town using motorcycles and Hilux Toyota vans laden with Improvised Explosive Devices, AK47 rifles, Rocket Propelled Launchers, petrol bombs and started shooting everywhere, and there after they they went ahead, hurling explosives on houses.

Almost all the village with hundred of houses have been destroyed by the rampaging insurgents. The primary school in the village, some vehicles and shops were also burnt.

The state Police Commissioner, Lawal Tanko, has confirmed the incident and the death of 35 people but according to sources the number rose to 52, and some people still trapped in the rubble of a collapsed building, so the death toll is expected to rise.

It was further gathered that the insurgents attacked the Mafa Local Government Area headquarters and succeeded in setting some houses ablaze in the area. There was no casualty figure of 11pm on Sunday.

More than 300 civilians have been killed this month in the states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa

The MultiChoice's digital satellite TV service in Africa, DStv has launched an exclusive channel called 'The Oscar Pistorius Trial' .

The pop-up channel will cover a major news event that has been on the headline for over a year, and has sparked an overwhelming global attention.

The channel will be streaming round-the-clock coverage of the legal proceedings, as well as exclusive documentaries and in-depth expert talks.

Pistorius, 27, has admitted to shooting his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp, at his home on Valentine's Day last year.

However, he has said he "accidentally" shot Steenkamp after mistaking her for an intruder.

The Olympic and double amputee track star is pictured above in court in South Africa for his trial on March 3, 8am GMT.

If convicted of murder, Pistorius faces up to life in prison.

Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres took a moment out from hosting the show to take a selfie with some of Hollywood's stars like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o, Channing Tatum, Kevin Spacey and Bradley Cooper.

Two people shot at Diddy’s CIAA after-party

Two people were reportedly shot at a CIAA after-party in Charlotte, North Carolina early Sunday morning.

The incident happened at the Sheraton Hotel where a party presented by Revolt featuring Diddy, Future and Fabolous was taking place.

According to police, an altercation happened in the main ballroom and it quickly escalated into two partygoers being shot in the leg. One person was rush to a local hospital while the other was treated and released at the scene.

Several other people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries they sustained when trying to escape the melee.

The police haven’t announced arrests or suspects in the shootings.

Neither Diddy, nor his reps, had any comment on the shooting incident.

According to Forbes magazine, retired basketball legend Michael Jordan made more money in 2013 than any other retired athlete in the world, earning an estimated $90million, more than any active playing athlete aside from boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. who made over $100m.

And where did all the money come from someone who hasn't played basketball in almost 10 years? Air Jordan of course!

Air Jordan is a brand of shoes and athletic clothing designed, owned, and produced by Michael Jordan for Nike's Jordan Brand subsidiary.

Nike released the Air Jordan 10 “Powder Blue” retro sneaker on Saturday, 20 years after the first Jordan 10s hit shelves. Like all the Jordan retro releases, this one was highly anticipated and first-day sales hit $35 million.

Retail shoe sales for the Jordan Brand in the U.S. grew 11% last year to $2.7 billion, with basketball making up 84% of that, according to Powell. Roughly 50% to 55% of that goes to Nike. If you factor in sales of Jordan apparel, the international Jordan business and sales at Nike stores, the Jordan brand is contributing roughly $2 billion of revenue to Nike, which posted sales of $26 billion over the last 12 months. Jordan, the man, gets a cut of every shoe, hoodie or pair of shorts sold by Nike under the Jordan Brand.

We estimate MJ’s take from Nike was at least $75 million last year. “Given that he is the name that launched the brand, you could argue that he deserves more,” says Phil de Picciotto, founder and president of Octagon. “Jordan is the perfect athlete.

For perspective, in all of 2013, Adidas sold $40 million in the U.S. of the signature shoes of its top star, Derrick Rose. The Bulls’ current star guard isn’t the only one operating in the shadow of Jordan. Reigning MVP LeBron James is the top seller among current NBA players with $300 million at retail last year for his Nike shoes, according to data tracker SportsOneSource. Jordan crushed those numbers with $2.25 billion in U.S. retail basketball sales in 2013.

It has been more than a decade since Michael Jordan last appeared in an NBA uniform, but MJ most certainly has still got it.

Malaysia Airlines jet carrying 239 people lost contact over the South China Sea, raising fears that the plane might have plunged into the pacific ocean.

The plane, carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew on board lost communication with Subang Air Traffic Control two hours after takeoff.

Flight MH370, a Boeing 777-200 jet, took off from Kuala Lumpur at 6.41pm GMT on Friday and had been expected to land at Beijing at 6.30am but two hours later lost touch with air traffic controllers in Vietnam.

The flight had 153 Chinese on board, 38 from Malaysia, 7 Australians, 4 Americans, 5 Indians, 4 French, 2 passengers each from New Zealand, Ukraine, and Canada, and 1 each from Russia, Italy, the Netherlands and Austria.

A search and rescue operation is under way#MH370 #MalaysiaAirlines

In 2009 an Air France aircraft went missing like this and was eventually found in the Atlantic Ocean, resulting in the deaths of 228 people.
