Motownphilly back again!! Boyz II Men to begin a new Vegas show @ The Mirage
The 90s R&B staple group Boyz II Men have taken engaged as resident performers for a new show at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman will start performing at the Terry Factor Theatre at The Mirage starting on March 1st of this year.
If you don’t already know, bass singer Michael McCary had to leave the group back in 2003 because of chronic back problems stemming from scoliosis.
Back then there were rumors that Mike was forced out of the group because the other Boys didn't think he should receive full pay because he could no longer perform the dance moves and had to sit in a chair on stage; some rumors said that he had died! Michael McCary is very much alive.
Organizers say the show will feature the band’s biggest hits, including the 1991 smash “Motownphilly,” as well as some surprises.
Boyz II Men has won four Grammys and claims the title of most successful male R&B group in history.
Their voices were REAL, not the auto tune we hear nowadays. They knew how to harmonize and even serenade a lady’s heart.
Tickets for their show are on sale right now and start at $40....worth it huh!

velvet black blazer!
This velvet blazer will give you a smooth feeling, thanks to it’s silk blend material. We like the notched collar design, and the ¾ sleeve cut looks chic and modern. Moreover, the black color will suit almost any formal occasion. The construction is also nice and neat.
I'm a football fan,yes....a TRUE DIE HARD Man Utd Fan..However,I do recognize talent whenever i see one,and Lionel Messi is one hell of a player!— an engine, intelligent & clinical player .A Barcelona player from Argentina, he has tricks like no other... So,on the image above, was when he received his award in 2010..He chose a rather sleek velvet black blazer with black bow tie...

Janet Jackson to receive $500m if she stays married for at least 5 yrs
According to new reports Janet Jackson, 46, stands to receive $500 million if she stays married to her billionaire fiance, Wissam Al Manna, 37, for a minimum of five years.
From Express UK

Janet did not put off her New Year’s Eve wedding because of cold feet but because of cold cash, a friend has revealed.
The singer was due to marry Arab multi-billionaire Wissam Al Mana but their lawyers could not organize the prenuptial agreement in time.
This is no small matter as twice-married Janet has amassed a fortune of £93.5million from 10 hit albums and six major tours while Wissam is one of the richest investors in the Middle East where he represents such fashion and style icons as Hermes and Sonia Rykiel. He is also a major shareholder in Saks Fifth Avenue stores in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Janet will be marrying into the sort of wealth not even her brother Michael managed to amass during his lifetime of success,” said her friend. “She’s looking forward to a fairytale life with Wissam.”
Should the fairytale turn sour then the agreement still being worked on is reported to guarantee Janet, 46, a “kiss-off” of half-a-billion dollars (around £312.14million) if they divorce after a minimum of five years.

Internet genius, Aaron Swartz, hangs himself in his NYC apartment
26 year old Aaron Swart was found dead in his New York apartment on Friday January 11th, weeks before he was to go on trial for downloading subscription-only academic papers with the intent to distribute them.
The hacker-activist was facing federal charges, a possible sentence of 35 years in prison and a $1 million fine. Guess he couldn't take it all and so he hanged himself in his apartment in Brooklyn on Friday.
Two years ago, in January, 2011, Swartz was arrested for, essentially, setting information free - as an animal-rights activist might liberate a zoo. In 2008, he had thrown open PACER, a subscription-only trove of federal judicial documents. And then he had downloaded the 4.8 million articles from JSTOR. Swartz was ch arged, then, with wire fraud, computer fraud, unlawfully obtaining information from a protected computer and damaging a protected computer.

Aaron has been depressed about his case/upcoming trial, but we had no idea what he was going through was this painful." Susan Swartz, Aaron's mother, posted on a hacker section of the Ycombinator Web site today.Sample papers Swartz attempted to set free include "John Berryman: The Poetics of Martyrdom" and "Mapping the Niger, 1798-1832: Trust, Testimony and 'Ocular Demonstration' in the Late Enlightenment." On its own initiative, JSTOR, which hosts the academic papers and never pressed charges against Swartz, started offering limited free access to its archive just this week.

Cyclist Lance Armstrong confesses doping to Oprah
After more than a decade of denying doping claims, cyclist Lance Armstrong has admitted to Oprah that he used performance-enhancing drugs to help him win seven Tour de France titles. A person familiar with the situation told the Associated Press that Armstrong confessed to Oprah Winfrey during an interview taping, which is slated to air on Thursday on her network.
Armstrong was stripped of all seven Tour titles and banned for life last year by a U.S. Anti-Doping Agency after it was discovered that he used performance enhancement drugs to win.
He had a meeting last month with US Anti-Doping Agency officials, and they said they were willing to reduce his life ban if he would testify against the people who helped him dope.

Couple sharing same name have split
The couple who met, fell in love and married over a shared name, have now filed for divorce. Kelly Hildebrandt and Kelly Hildebrandt have gone their separate ways.
One night in 2008, Kelly was curious and bored. Wondering if anyone on the website shared her name, she typed it into the search engine on the social networking site and up popped Kelly.
The then-20-year-old emailed the 24-year-old about the coincidence. Emails led to phone calls, phone calls to visits, and the whirlwind romance led to an engagement.
