Hazard charged over ball boy incident
A statement from the FA read:
"The FA have charged Chelsea's Eden Hazard following his side's League Cup semi-final at Swansea City on 23 January 2013. It is alleged that Hazard's behaviour in relation to a Swansea City ball boy, for which the player was dismissed in the 78th minute, constituted violent conduct whereby the standard punishment that would otherwise apply was clearly insufficient.
The player has until 6pm on Tuesday 29 January 2013 to respond to the charge.

Burger king drops burgers from Irish firm linked with horse meat & dumps millions of burgers in horse meat alert
Managers have been told to box up Whoppers, Angus burgers and patties in a safe area and mark them with an X to ensure they are not sold to customers.
An internal memo also insists they “clean and sanitize” pans and sinks and throw away dishcloths used in the process
The burger scandal broke on Tuesday last week after horse DNA was found at ABP Foods’ Silvercrest meat processing factory in Ireland.
Asda and Tesco immediately withdrew some burgers. But last Thursday Burger King said: “We confirm Burger King will not be withdrawing product. This is because Burger King only sources 100 per cent UK and Irish beef and ensures the integrity of our production line.”
Three days later a memo from vice president Tracy Gehlan ordered 485 restaurant managers to remove all Silvercrest burgers — but not until replacements from a different supplier had arrived.
At that stage “all unopened boxes of Silvercrest Foods product must be marked with a large ‘X’ and ‘Do Not Use’ to indicate that it is prohibited from being opened or sold.”
The memo said worried customers were to be told Burger King was taking all the “necessary precautions” to ensure quality.
Burger King’s PR agency Cohn and Wolfe said yesterday: “The previous statement sent on Thursday was accurate at the time of issue.
“But over the weekend Burger King decided as a precautionary measure to replace all ABP products in the UK and Ireland with those from an alternative supplier while it completes a thorough independent investigation.”
The burger scandal sparked outrage, even though horsemeat is safe to eat. It also led to internet theories that Shergar, the racehorse abducted by the IRA, ended up as burger meat.

Crowd invades police station, burns houses
Rufiji District Commissioner (DC) Nurudin Babu told The Guardian that the matter occurred after the Police arrested one person identified as Hamis Mpondi early this week during a patrol around Kibiti Streets.
During the arrest, the deceased was injured and rushed to Mchukwi Mission hospital in the district for treatments.
As time went on the health condition of the arrested (Hamis Mpondi) became more serious thus he was referred to Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) where he died on Wednesday this week.
After people received the death information of their fellow they decided to attack the Police station alleging the Police for causing the death.
Before attempting to attack the Police Station, the crowd blocked the Dar es Salaam to Lindi high way by using stones and logs while burning up tires.
After the police managed to stop the crowd from attacking the Police Station, the mass decided to attack the four houses resided by police officers in the streets near the station.
The crowd broke the doors of the houses, took out properties from the houses and burnt them.
The two Police officers who are alleged to have caused the death of the deceased have been taken into custody to pave way for further investigation on the matter.

Sources connected to Kim say she feels Kris is being “spiteful and vindictive” in dragging out the divorce — which has dragged on for nearly a year-and-a-half — for no reason.

David Beckham’s sirst son tries out with Chelsea
Thirteen-year-old Brooklyn Beckham, who is the oldest of Beckham’s four children, is having a tryout with London club Chelsea and played in an under-14 game Tuesday at the team’s training facility. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the teenager’s activities.
Pictures were posted on Twitter of David Beckham watching Brooklyn play Tuesday. Top pro teams routinely sign talented young players to their youth academies.
When Beckham played in the U.S., Brooklyn was on the Galaxy’s youth team. He still appears on the Galaxy website as a member of their under-14 squad, but the family left Los Angeles last month after David’s six-year contract with Los Angeles Galaxy ended. they’ve since returned to England.
For now, David is not interested in the offers flying at him from clubs around the world.

Deadly prison riot in Venezuela leaves 50 people dead
Hospital director Ruy Medina told AFP news agency that some 90 people were injured, mostly from gunshot wounds. The dead are thought to include inmates, guards and prison workers.
The director of Barquisimeto hospital, Ruy Medina, put the death toll at 54, Venezuela's Clarin newspaper reported.
Venezuelan Human rights activist Carlos Nieto Palma told BBC Mundo: "What should have been a normal procedure in any prison ended in a clash between National Guard [soldiers] and inmates."
He added that Uribana prison was among the most dangerous in the country.
Opposition leader Henrique Capriles blamed the violence on "incompetent and irresponsible government".
Venezuela's prisons are blighted by overcrowding and the proliferation of weapons and drugs. (BBC)

U.S. government website hijacked over Aaron Swartz suicide
Activists from the hacker collective known as Anonymous assumed control over the homepage of a federal judicial agency this morning.
In a manifesto left on the defaced page, the group demanded reform to the American justice system and what the activists said are threats to the free flow of information.
The lengthy essay largely mirrors previous demands from Anonymous, but this time the group also cited the recent suicide of Reddit co-founder and activist Aaron Swartz as has having "crossed a line" for their organization. Swartz was facing up to 35 years in prison on computer fraud charges.
Prosecutors said he had stolen thousands of digital scientific and academic journal articles from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with the goal of disseminating them for free.
