Authorities in Mexico revealed today that a nine-year-old Mexican girl has given birth to a baby of her own.

The baby girl was born on January 27 in Zoquipan Hospital, in Zapopan, Mexico's western Jalisco state.

The girl's mother, identified only as Dafne, told local officials: 'The girl was just over eight when she got pregnant. The father is a boy who is 17, but he was not found, since he ran away.'

Jorge Villasenor, from the state prosectors' office, said:
'We are looking for the young man to get his story because she does not understand what has happened
'This is a rape or child sex abuse case.'
Both girls were released from the hospital over the weekend, apparently doing well but the hospital said it would have to do extensive follow-up due to the new mother's age.

No doubt Beyonce looks quite different from when she started out and her transformation has been fabulous over the years.

Bey is a very beautiful woman but it seems she might have had some work done to enhance her features.I think she has had her nose narrowed and the tip refined.

Check out the before and after photos,it's seems fairly obvious that she had some work done...spot the difference?

Do you think Beyonce had a nose job?

Grammy performers have been told to cover up at Sunday’s big music awards show, and keep their buttocks, nipples and genitals under wraps.

The broadcaster. CBS have sent out an email outlining a specific dress code; and overtly sexual outfits are a no-go.
"Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered,Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare flesh under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic."
It means risque outfits worn by stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Toni Braxton and Rihanna to past Grammy ceremonies would all be deemed unacceptable.

The message this year is: Be chaste, please.

Diet soda increases the risk of diabetes. Why do we still drink this stuff?

Here's an article I found online a few days ago. Might be useful info for some of us. See it below...
Another study confirms what people have been saying for ages: Stop drinking diet soda. Like, right now. Drinking just one 12-ounce can of an artificially sweetened fizzy drink per week can increase your risk of Type 2 diabetes by 33 percent, French researchers found. And given that most people don't stop at a single weekly serving, your real risk for diabetes could actually be much higher.
It's well-known that people who consume a lot of sugar are more likely to develop diabetes, the researchers found that participants who drank "light" or "diet" soft drinks had a higher risk of developing Type 2 diabetes than those who drank regular, sugar-filled sodas. Those who drank 100 percent natural squeezed fruit juices instead had no additional risk.

Gosh! Why do we keep drinking diet soda?

In her recent interview with Vogue, Beyonce admits she doesn't read comment sections on websites to avoid getting her feelings hurt...

From Vogue Magazine
Beyoncé cannot insulate herself from every crazy and idle rumor. When she encounters a story about herself on the Internet, she reads only the story. She stops there. She doesn’t let herself scroll down into the comments sections, which have a tendency to become cruel, ad hominem free-for-alls.
“Don’t scroll down!” Beyoncé advises, laughing. “You’re definitely going to get your feelings hurt.”

Katy Perry who wore a mint-green Gucci gown -giving more than a hint of the assets that once must have felt the touch of British comedian Russell Brand's hands- seemed to have treated with contempt, Grammy guidelines asking for female breasts to be “adequately covered” with the take-a-look-at-the-boobs gown.

SERENGETI National Park was declared the best of the seven New Natural Wonders of Africa as all the three entries from Tanzania made it to the coveted seven.

Ngorongoro Crater, found within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, and described as ‘The Bowl’ in which a variety of wildlife live,’ was also voted among the Seven Wonders of Nature while Mount Kilimanjaro, which is Africa’s highest mountain, became the third entry from the country.

Eight feminists flashed their breasts in the heart of Paris’ Notre Dame cathedral on Tuesday to celebrate Pope Benedict XVI’s shock resignation announcement.

The members of the Femen movement entered the Gothic cathedral dressed in long coats which they whipped off inside while ringing three bells near the altar.
“Pope no more!” they cried. “No more homophobe” and “Bye bye Benedict!”
Scandalised visitors voiced their disapproval.
“This is a sacred place, you can’t strip here,” said a Frenchwoman.
The Femen women’s power group has been making headlines since 2010 for topless feminist, pro-democracy and anti-corruption protests in Russia, Ukraine and London.

The protesters were dragged out of the cathedral by security but remained outside for some time shouting:
“In gay we trust” and “Get out homophobe.”

News alert: North Korea conducts underground nuclear test’ triggering a 4.9 magnitude earthquake!

North Korea successfully detonated a miniaturized nuclear device at a northeastern test site today, Tuesday.

The nuclear test is North Korea’s first since leader Kim Jong Un took power in December 2011 following the death of his father, Kim Jong Il…who had launched two in his time.

Ø  South Korean news organizations were the first to report that a possible test had taken place, after the nuclear launch triggered an earthquake.

Ø  Neighboring country, Japan, detected the test as well due to the seismic activity that it caused.

Ø  The United States Geological Survey also said earlier Tuesday that it had detected a 4.9 magnitude earthquake in North Korea.

This nuclear test blatantly defies U.N. Security Council orders for North Korea to shut down atomic activity or face more sanctions and international isolation…but the rogue nation have continued to build and perfect their arsenal.

Their official state media said the test was conducted in a safe manner and is aimed at coping with ‘outrageous’ U.S. hostility that ‘violently’ undermines the North’s peaceful, sovereign rights to launch satellites.

Just before 2 a.m in Washington, D.C., President Obama’s team released a statement condemning the tests:
“The United States remains vigilant in the face of North Korean provocations and steadfast in our defense commitments to allies in the region.”
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and British Foreign Secretary William Hague have condemned North Korea’s test saying they have chosen the worst timing to conduct this testing.

North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, is undeterred as he has announced that his country will carry out more rocket launches and a nuclear test after it was censured by the UN Security Council over the launch of the rocket in December.

Check out the below tweets from the US Embassy Seoul :
North Korean soldiers patrol the Yalu River near the site of the ‘successful’ nuclear test
South Korean police chief Kim Ki-yong held a press conference saying that North Korea had likely made their third formal missile test prompting a 4.9-magnitude earthquake
Chen Kuo-chang, a senior technical specialist from Taiwan’s Seismology Center, showed where the nuclear test is believed to have taken place.

Was it just Mother Nature or a sign from God? Lightning appeared to strike St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican a few hours later after Pope Benedict XVI announced his resignation.

The Lightning Struck only a few hours later after Pope's Retirement speech. The Picture of Lightening striking the St. Peter's dome quickly spread on the Internet and soon became a topic of Interest. Many took the event as the 'Sign from the Heavens.'
"It was icy cold and the rain was falling in sheets. When the storm started, I thought that lightning might strike the rod, so I decided it was worth seeing whether – if it DID strike – I could get the shot at exactly the right moment.”He waited two hours before lightning struck twice and he captured a still image.
“The first bolt was huge and lit up the sky, but unfortunately I missed it,I had better luck the second time, and was able to snap a couple of images of the dome illuminated by the bolt.” (Huffington Post)

Is ex-cop and fugitive Christopher Dorner dead?

$

A body believed to be that of fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner was found in the cabin he barricaded himself in that went up in flames.

The former Navy reservist launched a campaign to exact revenge against the Los Angeles Police Department for firing him. He threatened to kill police officers and their families, and actually managed to kill four - two officers and two family members of a police officer.

For those who have never heard the story, read below....

270-pound, 6-foot former Navy officer, Christopher Dorner, 33, joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 2005. Then on September 4th 2008, he was fired for filing a report concerning the conduct of his training officer, Teresa Evans. Christopher claimed in his report that Evans used excessive force - kicking a mentally ill suspect during an arrest in the face while he was handcuffed and lying on the ground. The police didn't believe him, then they fired him. 4+ years later, the trained assassin became the subject of one of the largest manhunts in LAPD history.

An internal review board claimed that Christopher had falsified his report in 2008 despite the fact that the kicking victim and the victim's father had corroborated Christopher's report.

No action was taken against officer Evans but Christopher was fired. He challenged his firing in court and lost. And then he decided to be the jury, the judge and the executioner by going after LAPD officers.

Before embarking on a series of shootings and eluding police, Christopher Dorner posted a detailed communication discussing his history, motivations, and plans on his facebook page. This was early February. He also posted a manifesto demanding a public admission by the LAPD that his firing was in retaliation for reporting excessive force. He blamed racism and corruption in the department for his removal and vowed to wage "unconventional and asymmetrical warfare" against LAPD officers and their families. He called it a "last resort" to clear his name and strike back at a department he said mistreated him.

On February 3rd, Christopher killed Monica Quan and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, in a parking lot in Irvine, south of Los Angeles. Quan was the daughter of a now-retired Los Angeles police officer who represented Christopher in a disciplinary hearing that led to his termination.

A few days later, Thursday February 7th, Christopher opened fire on four LAPD police officers. He killed one and wounded three.

On Sunday February 10th, the city of Los Angeles put up $1 million in reward money for help catching Christopher Dorner.

Christopher hid for days in an empty home next to a golf course on a residential street in the small town of Big Bear Lake. When two women arrived yesterday Tuesday February 12th to clean the property he tied them up, then stole their vehicle and drove out of town. He crashed that vehicle and carjacked a white pick-up truck.

Christopher was then confronted on a highway by police officers before fleeing on foot. He fled into the forest and barricaded himself inside an empty mountain cabin after a shootout with police. He killed one deputy in the shoot out.

Police officers broke the cabin's windows, pumped in tear gas and called for Dorner to surrender over a loudspeaker. When there was no reply they used a vehicle to tear down the cabin walls. A single gunshot was then heard before flames engulfed the building.

Early this morning, the police said they found charred remains in the cabin and they believe it's Christopher Dorner. Los Angeles Police spokesman Commander Andrew Smith said:
"We believe he is dead. We believe he was in that cabin. We believe he was burned up in that cabin."
The charred remains is yet to be positively identified.
