You think they have it all...you even envy them...then they commit suicide
I've been trying to make sense of actor and comedian Robin William's death yesterday...from an apparent suicide. I asked myself why would a man who seemed to have it all...fame, money, successful career, children, wife, and some things many dream of and only a few have - Oscar win, Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, block buster movies, millions of fans around the world, star treatment anywhere they go..etc...and yet, they take their own lives after battling depression for years.
Legendary award-winning comedic actor Robin Williams was found dead on Monday. He was 63 and the apparent cause of death was reportedly suicide.
Susan Schneider, the actor’s wife, released the following statement to the New York Times’

This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one if its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robin’s death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.
