Manchester United has confirmed that David Moyes will replace Sir Alex Ferguson as their new manager. Ferguson, who retired on Wednesday, recommended Moyes for the position.

David Moyes will take over for Sir Alex Ferguson as the new manager of Manchester United, the club announced Thursday.

Ferguson gave his full blessing to Moyes saying calling him a "man of great integrity with a strong work ethic."

Everton boss humbly accepted the position Thursday.

It's a great honor to be asked to be the next manager of Manchester United.I am delighted that Sir Alex saw fit to recommend me for the job. I have great respect for everything he has done and for the football club.

Everton confirms that David Moyes will leave the Club at the end of the season.

Moyes joined Everton in March 2002 and he has been an outstanding Manager.

He will stay on in his current role as Everton manager until the end of the season, and will formally replace Ferguson on July 1 with a six-year contract.

I hope he will bring more glories to Man U.

A top government official says three Emiratis have been wrongly linked to a deadly bombing of a church in Tanzania contrary to news wire reports out of the African country.

A government source said Authorities in the UAE have received confirmations through official channels that the investigations undertaken by security in Tanzania showed no connection between the three Emiratis in question and the bombing, which took place at a church in Arusha city during a mass service.

The UAE is following up with the three Emiratis through diplomatic channels ever since they were taken in for investigations at a police station close to the bombing site. The UAE embassy is awaiting their arrival as soon as the case is closed and they are released

The three unidentified Emiratis were taken into custody following Sunday’s bombing when they tried to cross the border.

Five Tanzanian nationals were also arrested for the attack which killed three people and injured as many as 60.

Lamborghini is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style, and that includes a gathering of 350 ‘raging bull’ branded cars, which would take the tour starting from Milan up until Bologna, the end-point being the headquarters of Lamborghini! .

Not all Lamborghinis were welcomed to join its 50th Anniversary Grand Tour,the brand had allowed only the modern and vintage model entry, that too with a valid license plate.

Thanks to the filtering, the fleet of supercars from the brand has been an interesting mix: 350 GTs, 400 GTs, Miuras, Espadas, Jaramas, Urracos, Countaches, LM 002, Diablos and Murcielagos.

Lamborghini has chosen a very scenic route for its mesmerizing convoy to pass.

On 7th May, the Lamborghini cars were on display in one of Milan’s largest squares.

American rapper, Jay-Z tipped to perform in Tanzania on October 4.

Hov has just announced a seven-week world tour to spread awareness about the globe’s water crisis.

The tour kicks off Sept. 9 in Poland, with Jay making his way through Europe, Africa, Asia and finishing the shows off in Australia on Oct 28.

Tammy Jung was once a healthy eight-stone teenager who wore skinny jeans, loved playing volleyball and going out with friends.

Tammy says force feed herself – often through a funnel to eat at least 5,000 calories a day.

She spends her days indoors eating buckets of fried chicken, pancakes, waffles,boxes of doughnuts and whole blocks of cheese.

The attention seeker who currently weighs about 224LBS, says her boyfriend of eight months, Johan Ubermen,28, helps her gain weight by pouring ice cream milkshakes made with heavy whipped cream and a whole tub of ice cream down her throat through a funnel.

MSD (http://www.merck.com), known as Merck in the United States and Canada, announced today that the company has been awarded a significant portion of the UNICEF Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV) tender, and will provide sustained supply of GARDASIL® [Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent (Types 6, 11, 16, and 18) Vaccine, Recombinant] to GAVI-eligible countries.

 This agreement follows the GAVI Alliance’s earlier announcement that HPV vaccines would be included in its portfolio for the first time. GAVI is expected to support the introduction of HPV vaccination in 28 countries by the end of 2017.

Through this initial tender award, MSD expects to supply approximately 2.4 million doses of GARDASIL to GAVI-eligible countries between 2013 to 2017 to help meet vaccine demand for countries already approved or recommended for approval by GAVI for HPV vaccine demonstration projects and national introductions. Additional awards by UNICEF are anticipated as vaccine demand increases.

It is essential that every young girl around the world has access to HPV vaccines. Today’s decision by UNICEF is an important step forward,This partnership highlights MSD’s commitment to working closely with GAVI to ensure broad and sustained access to GARDASIL in the world’s poorest countries, where the burden of HPV diseases, such as cervical cancer, is greatest.....said Henrik Secher, managing director, MSD Africa. 

Following a 2009 report, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended that routine HPV vaccination be included in national immunization programs to help prevent cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases. It is estimated that approximately 500,000 women develop cervical cancer annually around the world, with about 85 percent of cases occurring in developing countries. Cervical cancer is the third most common type of cancer among women worldwide.

High-risk HPV types 16 and 18 cause about 75 percent of cervical cancers, 70 percent of vaginal cancers, 40 to 50 percent of vulvar cancers and 80 percent of anal cancers.

Things in Naughty by Nature camp seem to be petering out and Treach has a lot to get off his chest.

The Brick City born boss typically doesn't hold back, but it seems like he’s been biting his tongue for a long time on his issues with Vinnie, his friend and rap partner in Naughty By Nature. According to Treach, things have been really shady. Beef has been elusive for the crew hailing from East Orange, NJ.Listen to him below.....

In an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com, Treach explains why the separation is coming over 20 years later. Treach said:

We never wanted to be the groups that couldn't resolve our issues.Nobody Nobody – me being Treach, Kay (DJ/producer Kay Gee) and Vin being Vin –is larger than the group.

Me and Vin haven’t really spoke in like two years and to more than 100 shows a year-on the same stage. Wouldn't nobody know it, because the business is one thing, personal is something else. But when sh*t is going behind people back and somebody is acting like they above people and other things are being set up that the groups doesn't know about, it has to be stopped. Its been talked about like, “Homey, play your position. Don’t go too far, because sh*t will be exposed.

Me and Vin haven’t really spoke in like two years and to more than 100 shows a year-on the same stage. Wouldn't nobody know it, because the business is one thing, personal is something else. But when sh*t is going behind people back and somebody is acting like they above people and other things are being set up that the groups doesn't know about, it has to be stopped. Now, when somebody comes and gets larger than the group, its gonna be a problem.

If you see any of our albums, it says “written and produced by Naughty By Nature.” Because, homey you [Vinnie] was somebody that was over there beat boxing and break dancing and any lyrics you had anywhere was written for you. Don’t never get larger than the group. The producer and the writer of the group are always like “we, we, we” not “me, me, me.” Even if you don’t do sh*t, we gonna make sure you taken care of for the rest of your life.

How dare you ever play like you bigger than the group or you the owner? You the boss or you the shot caller.You never wrote one hit. You never produced one hit song. You [Vinnie] came on as a homey that was there…we threw your a lot of bones [work] just to keep you up in there ’cause you was the homey from the door who was up in there. And we always fit you in when there wasn’t a spot for you to be in. You will never see Vin do a Naughty show [alone], because he can’t. Look at the last Naughty album. This dude [Vinnie] don’t even have a verse on it.Me and KG (the groups DJ and hit making producer) can do this for the rest of our lives. I don’t work for nobody.

When you doing side deals behind homies’ back and we find out about it, homey…Naughty will go on. You can be replaced, by just not having you there. I do my own gigs – hosting, performing, everything. There has never been a time when they asked where the was Vin. Don’t never question nothing I do or play us out. Don’t never go on no side thing, don’t never let me find out about no deal behind my back that I gotta find out later.

Nobody in Naughty never went out and spoke out about certain sh*t, but once, it goes on and sh*t done behind my back, and I have to let them know, I don’t know who’s been spoken to [in the name of business]. All the shows on the calendar, yeah, we are gonna do those shows. After the [contracted shows], its gonna be a wrap for Naughty By Nature as you've seen. Its gonna be a whole new set up, because ain't nobody larger than the team. Nobody is larger than the squad.

Its ugly and its been too ugly without no talking [with Vinnie]. You look for somebody to be bigger than that when you are being bigger than that. If I’m going to be the man I’ve been and somebody can’t be the man their supposed to be, I don’t have time for that. I need to be around positive vibes and people that are on the same level – ego free.

Everybody got a common goal but working together. Ain't nobody hating on nobody, stepping on them to get on top. Everybody working together. If that ain't with the vibe from the people that’s around me, they get a grown man time out and they sit in the corner for a minute…real talk.

For now, the group has not broken up, but it will be strictly business.

I’ll never say never to nothing, because I’m a business man, Vinnie is on a “grown man'' timeout.

There are reports that Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, wants to move out of the home she has been living in with her grandmother, Katherine, and her two brothers, Prince and Blanket, since her father passed away almost four years ago and move in with her biological mother, Debbie Rowe.

Paris and Debbie were first seen together in public last month celebrating her 15th birthday, since then, they have been photographed shopping and on Debbie’s horse farm.

Sources say Paris thinks her 84-year-old grandmother is too old fashion but the straw that broke the camel’s back was when Katherine asked her to start going door-to-door with her preaching for her Jehovah’s Witness faith.

The same sources say Paris is trying to convince her brothers to move out with her; however, Prince wants to respect his late father’s wishes by not seeing his mother, who signed over all of her parental rights to Michael.

Maybe Janet was right about Paris being a brat and needs a good beating!!! but on other hand, the Jackson's family should know that she's her biological mother.The mother-daughter bond is strong and unbreakable!

Those petty cat fights sure didn’t pull in the ratings for American Idol this season. Now, it looks like all judges are going to be axed!

Fox reality singing competition's ratings have dropped by almost 25% from last year, which are the lowest ratings in the show’s history which leaves Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban on hot seat.

The producers are looking into doing a serious makeover,after a year of bad reviews and worse ratings.Only host Ryan Seacrest seems to be sticking around.The insider told TheWrap:  

All four are gone,They feel they've lost their core audience and they want it back....."No more big checks for divas".

E! News confirmed with a Fox source that the report was somewhat true:

Yes, we want to do a whole new panel - but, just like last time around, it depends on who we get.

Veteran “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson has also made a statement confirming his departure:

Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on ‘American Idol’ I have decided it is time to leave after this season.

I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.

According to the report, the network will not be shelling out millions of dollars to get big name talent again.

Malcolm Shabazz, the troubled grandson of civil rights icon Malcolm X, has been killed in Mexico, U.S. officials confirmed Friday

Some sources say Shabazz, 28, was thrown off a rooftop after being shot during an attempted robbery on Thursday, May 9,but Miguel Suarez,Shabazz's friend said he was with him when his friend was beaten up during a dispute over a bill at a Mexico City bar.

Suarez took him to a hospital where he died on Thursday.

I’m confirming, per U.S. Embassy, on behalf of family, the tragic death of Malcolm Shabazz, grandson of Malcolm X. Statement frm family 2 come...Shabazz family publicist,Terrie Williams confirmed the death on twitter.

Shabazz was the son of Qubilah Shabazz, the second daughter of Malcolm X and his wife Betty Shabazz.

In June 1997,at the age of 12 he burned his own Grandmother to death. Shabazz set a fire at his grandmother Betty Shabazz’s home. She died from severe burns, and he served four years in juvenile detention.

He plead guilty to arson and was sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile detention center. Shabazz’s sentence was extended due to discipline problems and he was released four years later. 

At the age of 17, he was sentenced to three years in a New York state prison after taking part in a violent street robbery in Middletown, Orange County.

At the age of 22, admitted to smashing the window of a Dunkin' Donuts in Yonkers the previous August. He pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal mischief.

According to his blog, which was last updated on May 2, Shabazz had been traveling the United States and elsewhere, speaking about the "struggles that confront this generation."...

At the time of his death Shabazz was studying Criminal Justice at John Jay College in New York. It isn’t known why Shabazz was in Mexico. He leaves behind 2 daughters.

Alex Ferguson’s retirement from managing Manchester United is pretty much the biggest news of the day.

Obviously, fans of the iconic footie manager have been paying their respects on Twitter, but the hashtag #FergieRetires has confused plenty of music fans on the social networking site.

It all started with a tweet from comedian Jack Whitehall, who quipped: “First JLS now Fergies retiring! How will the black Eyed Peas cope with this!”

Though Lil Wayne has lost his Mountain dew endorsement deal with PepsiCo, he still has reason to celebrate. 

The Young Money/Cash Money rap mogul launched his Spectre by Supra footwear line at an indoor ramp in Miami over the weekend. 

Weezy signed a partnership deal with the skating brand due to his love for skateboarding.

I’ve been rocking this shoe before I even knew what it was, so for me to start skating now and shoe lines start coming at me, it would’ve been only right to mess with the people I been rocking with.

Weezy was dropped as representative for PepsiCo over disrespectful lyrics about the death of civil rights icon Emmett Till. The rapper issued an apology, but it was not favorably received by the Till family.

David E. Talbert is back with his second feature film called “Baggage Claim”, and he’s snagged an all-star lineup for the romantic comedy. The film is based on a flight attendant named Montana Moore (Paula Patton) who freaks out once she realizes that she is the only woman in her entire family not to be married.

With her baby sister’s (Lauren London) wedding drawing near, Montana is on a quest to find a man as soon as possible. With the help of her best friend (Jill Scott), she goes on a journey in hopes of charming a man into marrying her.

During her 30-day, 30,000-mile trek, her pickings include Jay Z wannabe who’s flossing things his money really can’t buy (Trey Songz), an attorney-turned-councilman (Taye Diggs), and a multimillionaire who’s 20 years her senior (Djimon Hounsou).

The cast also includes Boris Kodjoe, Derek Luke, Christina Milian, La La Anthony, Tia Mowry-Hardrict (Trey’s characters’ crazy baby mama), comedian Affion Crockett, Jenifer Lewis and Terrence J.

On April 24, a garment factory in Bangladesh collapsed, killing more than 1,000 people.

On Thursday, 17 days after the five-story building fell to the ground, a final survivor was discovered. Reshma Begum, a seamstress at Rana Plaza, was pulled from the rubble, after rescue crews heard her banging on a pipe.

An army sergeant who was involved in the rescue,said he heard the sound and rushed towards the spot.He knelt down and heard a faint voice. Sir, please help me!

Plaza was trapped between a fallen beam and a column and that somehow gave her some sort of pocketed protection and enabled her to survive for 17 days.

She was discovered in the wreckage of a Muslim prayer room in the building and army officials immediately gave her water & oxygen and rushed her to hospital. 

No one heard me. It was so bad for me. I never dreamed I'd see the daylight again.

There was some dried food around me. I ate the dried food for 15 days. The last two days I had nothing but water. I used to drink only a limited quantity of water to save it. I had some bottles of water around me, she said.

It is incredible that someone could have survived in the wreckage.she’d survived by scavenging for food in the rucksacks of dead colleagues.

On April 29, Sohel Rana, the owner of the Rana Plaza factory, was caught trying to flee the country. He is part of a group of factory owners that will be charged with “faulty construction and causing unlawful death.”

More than 2,500 people have been rescued in the immediate aftermath of the collapse. However, the death toll has now risen to more than 1,000.

The collapse is already the world's deadliest garment industry disaster and one of the worst industrial accidents.

Just imagine Begum spent more than 400 hours beneath the wreckage....what a miracle,praise the Lord!!
