Usher officially confirmed to take on the role of a boxing legend!

American RnB singing sensation, Usher has been confirmed to play boxer Sugar Ray Leonard in a new film called “Hands Of Stone”, which focuses on the story of Roberto Duran when he claimed the WBC welterweight title.

Usher who is also a judge on The Voice, is packing on the muscle to kill this role.He recently talked to the Huffington Post about his new role:
You couldn’t find a more stylized boxer than Sugar Ray Leonard. He was an incredible motion guy, the way he moved around the ring, and I think my dancing will make it easier for me to pick up his moves. I’ve been working on familiarizing myself with the ring, sparring and just understanding how to move in the ring.
Usher also reveals he needs to drop 12 pounds, and then replace it with muscle:

Jermaine Dupri writes a letter to the fans of Chris ‘Mac Daddy’ Kelly.

He reminisces on when he first discovered Kris Kross at Greenbriar Mall and much more.

To the world Chris was MacDaddy but to me, he was a son I never had.

As much as you may think I taught him, he taught me. God has blessed me to be in the presence of so many naturally talented people, and Chris was one.

Dupri remembers how passionate and driven Kelly was from the start.His understanding of what we set out to do, from day one was always on point. His passion for the music, his love for doing shows, his want to [be] better than everyone else, was always turnt up.

When I think about it, I spent more time with Chris and Chris than damn near anybody in my whole life, so you can imagine how bad this hurts [sic].

I will always love you Chris, and I will never let the world forget you, may God bless your soul.
Kelly was found unresponsive in his home and was rushed to Atlanta Medical Center. He was pronounced dead yesterday evening.

In the ’90s, Dupri helped the duo gain their big hit with ‘Jump,’ off their multi-platinum album, ‘Totally Krossed Out.’

Nigeria bars private jet owners from carrying friends, associates

The Nigeria 2013 National Civil Aviation Policy unveiled severe rules for private jet owners in the country.

Amongst the rules introduced,The policy has barred individuals with private jets( owned or leased by individuals) from carrying their friends and business associates on board the aircraft, stating that only members of their families are allowed on board.

It further states that companies or corporate entities with private jets are permitted to carry only their employees or members of the Boards of Directors.

Moreover, the policy has also directs that identities of all passengers on board any private jet must be made known through a manifest before air traffic control clearance will be sought. It states:

Similarly, the Minister of Aviation has directed that all foreign-registered private jets will no longer be allowed to stay in the country beyond 15 days.

Chris Brown confirmed the break up in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O explaining,
The way I look at it is… I’m always going to love that person, but people have differences, and people have different wants and needs.

At the end of the day she’s a young girl. I can’t really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young… and I’m young too.

I just got to step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket.

Chelsea ‘Adam Nditi’ disses Diamond's UK show

Adam Nditi from Tanzania playing with Chelsea (youth squad) dissed Diamond,when the singer recently took to the stage in Reading to perform his hit songs.

Reportedly the stage show didn't do well enough to pay back the fans.

Nditi said the whole thing was very unprofessional as the ad says “Show starts at 3pm” but the singer arrived at 7:00 am in the morning.

Second, the stage was a whack and cheap like the people didn't pay for the electrifying performer audiences came to see.

Lufthansa Airbus catches fire in mid-air shortly after takeoff

Travelers were left fearing for their lives after an airplane engine burst into flames thousands of feet above ground.

Minutes after the flight took off from a Helsinki airport with 168 people on board, the engine exploded and caught fire.

The German-bound Airbus suffered a number of technical problems before streaks of flames emitted from the left engine, 15 minutes after leaving ground.

A blast rocked the Lufthansa Airbus A321-200 and eye witnesses reported hearing grinding noises before a number of bangs resonated through the fuselage.

The plane's engine stalled and cut out while the blaze ripped through the aircraft, leaving it flying with just one engine.

Pilots battled to control the jet and immediately U-turned to Helsinki, making an emergency landing just 20 minutes after taking off.

The aircraft managed to land safely at Helsinki airport without suffering any injuries and the 162 passengers and six crew members were taken to a hotel.

A full investigation has now been launched by the airliner and Airbus to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Lauryn Hill sentenced to three months in jail for tax evasion!!!

Lauryn Hill was sentenced to three months in jail for failing to pay taxes on an estimated $1.8 million in income.

She claims to have paid the gov't her $970K in back taxes BEFORE the sentencing, but apparently that didn't sufficiently impress the judge!

Now the phenomenal former Fugees star faces a three months stint in a federal prison and will spend another three months on house arrest after that!!

The 37-year-old star knew she was in hot water after pleading guilty last year to several counts of tax evasion on earnings of around $1.8 mil, but we doubt she expected this outcome!!

Lauryn delivered a statement in court today and compared her situation to slavery — she said:
I was put into a system I didn't know the nature of. … I'm a child of former slaves. I got into an economic paradigm and had that imposed on me… I sold 50 million units … now I'm up here paying a tax debt. If that's not likened to slavery, I don't know what is.
The judge ordered the singer to report to prison by July 8, but it's still unclear precisely where she will spend her time behind bars.

What do you look out for when buying clothes, bags, shoes but most especially clothes?Some people buy their clothes base on the fact that it fits them not minding how much it cost,much or less so far it has a perfect fitting on them.

Where as we have another category of people who buy their clothes base on they fact that they are designers and they don't care how expensive it is,how it would look on them,if its a color that would really complement their skin or it would look awful on them.

The US rapper was released Tuesday from a New York prison after served two years for gun possession and tax evasion charges.

Ja Rule — whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins pled guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in 2010 due to an incident that took place in 2007 when cops found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his car. He turned himself in June 2011.

Three women who disappeared separately more than 10 years ago have been found alive in a house in Cleveland, Ohio – just a few miles from where they went missing.

Ms DeJesus went missing aged 14 on her way home from school about a year after Ms Berry.

The third woman, Ms Knight, had been missing since 2002 when she was believed to have been 20.

The victims 'gave birth to at least FIVE babies in the home ― Police sources claim one of the women had as many as three miscarriages because she was so malnourished.

kidnap victim Amanda Berry, 26, climbed through a screen door on Monday afternoon while her alleged captor was out and fled to a neighbor's home to call 911.

A neighbor named Charles was the one that heard the woman trying to get out and he helped break her out and call the police, when she identified herself as Amanda Berry .He was able to go into the house and rescue Amanda, Gina DeJesus and another girl Michele Knight and four children.

They have also been described as being in good health.

Castro, 52, 'captor' who owned house has been arrested along with his two brothers, Pedro, 54, and Oneil, 50. At the press conference, authorities said they believe they have the three men responsible, who will face charges.

Shock as man rapes woman on moving bus

Police in Brazil are looking for a man who raped a woman on a moving Rio de Janeiro bus.

Witnesses say the armed man ran away after a busing the woman for about 30 minutes, and robbing other passengers.

The crime has shocked the country, becoming a topic of discussion on social media.

Witnesses told the authorities the assailant took a group of about 10 passengers to the front of the vehicle, telling the driver to keep on driving.

After taking their belongings, the man is said to have hit a 30-year-old woman with his gun before raping her.

The man was appeared to be under the influence of drugs, then got off the bus and ran across a busy motorway.

Rio de Janeiro's mayor, Eduardo Paes, vowed to tighten security and checks on public transport.

Robberies are common on buses in Rio de Janeiro and other Brazilian cities but the violence and audacity of this attack has shocked many people.

Mmh! I think they should be concerned about security ahead of the major global sporting events ⧐football World Cup next year and the Olympics in 2016.

Alex Ferguson retires as Man Utd manager after 27 years

Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson has announced his decision to retire after more than a quarter of a century at the helm.

The 71 year old who became Man U manager in 1986,will bow out after the West Bromwich Albion game on 19 May and join the football club board.

SAF is the most successful manager in English football history― he won 38 trophies including two Champions League and 13 Premier League.Announcing his decision to retire on manutd website, Ferguson said:
The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about and one that I have not taken lightly. It is the right time.

It was important to me to leave an organisation in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so. The quality of this league winning squad, and the balance of ages within it, bodes well for continued success at the highest level whilst the structure of the youth set-up will ensure that the long-term future of the club remains a bright one.

Our training facilities are amongst the finest in global sport and our home Old Trafford is rightfully regarded as one of the leading venues in the world.

As for my players and staff, past and present, I would like to thank them all for a staggering level of professional conduct and dedication that has helped to deliver so many memorable triumphs. Without their contribution the history of this great club would not be as rich.

Going forward, I am delighted to take on the roles of both Director and Ambassador for the club. With these activities, along with my many other interests, I am looking forward to the future.

To the fans, thank you. The support you have provided over the years has been truly humbling. It has been an honour and an enormous privilege to have had the opportunity to lead your club and I have treasured my time as manager of Manchester United.

I must pay tribute to my family, their love and support has been essential. My wife Cathy has been the key figure throughout my career, providing a bedrock of both stability and encouragement. Words are not enough to express what this has meant to me.
